Transferring money from New Zealand to the UK is safe and straightforward when you use a trusted service provider. However, in order to transfer funds through Travelex, it's important to gather the appropriate information. Travelex offers two primary ways to transfer funds: an online travel money service and the Travelex Money Card.
  • The online service enables anyone living in New Zealand to send funds securely to the UK.
  • The Travelex Money Card is designed to assist travellers who are going to the UK in person.
In order to process your transfer, Travelex requires the sender’s full name and current address, along with identity verification and full payment details. The recipient’s full name, address, and bank details will also be required, including a 4-7 digit bank account number, bank name, and branch/code. While an IBAN number is not required for banks outside Europe and the Middle East, a SWIFT/BIC code for the receiving bank in the UK is needed.
Rest assured, we're doing everything we can to make this as simple and easy as we can. However, if you have any questions about the upcoming change, we're always here to help. You can call us 24/7 on 0800 161 868 in New Zealand.
